RUSSELL AND KIMORA'S DEF MARITAL SHAM
Now that the separation of Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons has
been formerly announced, details of the long road to Friday's
press release have already begun bubbling to the surface.
According to the New York Post, the two have lived and still
remain in isolated wings of their 10-bedroom home in Saddle River, NJ.
One insider told the Post; "Their bedrooms are so
far apart, they never saw each other anyway."
Russell says: 'We've been on the rocks for 15 years.'
As previously reported, Russell is said to be dating Denise Vasi,
described by the Post as "a cinnamon-skinned beauty whose
photos can be viewed on IDModels.com." Russell had
her on his arm last Thursday while attending the G-Spa club in the
Hotel Gansevoort and at the "Coke Side of Life" launch party at
Capitale in New York.
Kimora is also rumored to have a new arm piece New York
Knicks guard Stephon Marbury. The two were spotted at New Yorks
Scores West partying until 4:30 a.m. last week.
Russell, the founder of Def Jam Records and the Phat Farm fashion
label, met Kimora when she was a 17-year-old from St. Louis working
the runway for New York Fashion Week.
He married the 6-foot, half-black/half-Asian model in 1998 and
the two soon became partners in business as well.
