Although Lil Kim is currently in prison for perjury, she is
preparing to be released by the summer at the latest, according to
her lawyer Mel Sachs. Kim (born Kimberly Jones) began serving
a 366-day sentence in September, and is allegedly getting ready
to leave the Philadelphia Federal Detention Center in only a few
months. "A year and a day is actually less than a one-year sentence
because, under the federal rules and the federal sentencing system, if
there's an extra day, you get time credited to you," Sachs explained.
"So Kim will be out in late spring or early summer."
