Detail of the prenuptial agreement between Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds
and his estranged wife Tracey Edmonds have been leaked.
According to a report from Panache.com, Tracey stands to
receive a $70 million divorce settlement (cash, property,
stocks, alimony, child support, a percentage of music publishing
in one lump sum).Tracey and Babyface were married 13 years
and have 2 sons. Tracey is a shrewd businesswoman and award
winning producer who recently scored the top rated reality
series in BET history with "Countdown To Lockdown".
Tracey is also rumored to be engaged to a prominent L.A. entertainment
attorney. In contrast, Nicole Murphy will walk away from her
12-year marriage to comedian Eddie Murphy with an estimated
$25 million. The couple have 5 children and their prenup
agreement alledgedly pays her $5 million per child. Nicole and
her lawyer plan to fight the prenup agreement which historically
is difficult to contest by claiming Eddie breached the contract
due to the 1997 transvestite incident. In that infamous case,
Murphy's car was pulled over by police in West Hollywood after he
picked up a transvestite in an area well-known for it's male
prostitution activities. Murphy claimed he was giving her a ride.
In Essence magazine, Mitchell recently said of the incident,
"[Murphy] told me there was this person on the corner crying,
so he stopped to help. But I'm thinking, 'Well, why the hell did
you let them get in the car?'"
