Being the son of rap mogul Damon Dash has its privileges. According to the New York Post, Damon Jr. was jacked for his cell phone by some local kids near New York's Dwight School, where Junior is a student in the eighth grade.

When word of the mugging got back to Dash, pops decided to take matters into his own hands. The paper reports that Dash and "a couple of large friends" went up to the school's location near Central Park West and 89th Street.

While it was not reported what happened next, the cell phone somehow turned up in Dash's possession within minutes. A spokeswoman for Dash declined comment about the incident to the Post, but an insider told the paper, "It's totally true."

This entire incident is truely a damn shame. I think D. Dash is a little to old to be picking on little kids but the sayin does go "pick on someone your own size" and Dash's maturity level is rather childlike so hey it was probably a fair fight. My only problem is why did he need to bring "back-up" to fight some kids? What a punk!
