Bow Wow and Ciara are officially over. After dating for nearly a year, it's the end of the road for Ciara

and Bow Wow, two of the most successful artists in R&B

and hip hop. "Ciara and I have parted ways,I wish her

all the best" Bow Wow tells TEEN PEOPLE.

Miss Info, a DJ on New York City's Hot 97, first reported that

Ciara, 20, and Bow Wow, 19, broke up after he was spotted with

another girl in Los Angeles last weekend. But a rep for Ciara tells

TEEN PEOPLE, "Ciara and Bow Wow have been broken up for a

while, but their parting was amicable."

According to an older Teen People interview with Bow Wow, their

families had come to be pretty close. Bow Wow made it clear that their

relationship was so serious that even their families had become close.

"My mother is very supportive of everything I do. She loves Ci

[his pet name for Ciara] and Ci loves my mother, so it's a whole

other connection, I never had that father connection until now.

So me and Ci's father, we bond a lot. I talk to him on a

BEYONCE WRITES LETTER TO WHITNEY

Britain's Daily Star newspaper is reporting that Beyonce

has written a letter to Whitney Houston offering support in

the wake of recent tabloid reports about her alleged drug use. "Beyonce will do what it takes to sort Whitney out," said a source

quoted by the newspaper. "She needs her friends around her and

Beyonce would never give up on anybody."

Whitney and Beyonce are said to have become close friends

during the early days of Destiny's Child. The "Crazy in Love"

singer was reportedly moved to pen the letter after reading

accounts of Houston's chaotic state.

Last week, Mary J. Blige also expressed concern about

Houston, advising the singer through Britain's "Attitude" magazine

that the admission of an addiction is the "first step on

the road to recovery."

"You have got to want to admit that you have got a problem,

first of all. Then start to deal with why that is," she said.

The remarriage of Eminem and Kim couldn't even make

it to a three month anniversary.

After exchanging vows for a second time on Jan. 14, the

rapper, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III,

filed divorce papers on Wednesday, his publicist confirmed.

Their first marriage lasted for just over two years,

and ended in October 2001 with a nasty legal fight that included

a custody battle over their daughter, Hailie. During their time apart,

Eminem wrote several songs that viciously attacked Kim, his high

school sweetheart. He even rapped about killing her in one song. But in December, the couple announced they had gotten back together. A month later, they were remarried.

Star-ruh Jones came up with a brilliant plan to look designer

even when she was only making $24,000 a year as a prosecutor.

She attached designer buttons to all her moderately priced suits. "The Chanel suits in all honesty were the Dress Barn and the

Lane Bryant suits, and I would go down to Canal St. and buy

the little Chanel buttons and sew them on," Star revealed

as she picked up her Woman of Achievement award. Star recently donated 50 boxes of clothes to the charity

"Dress for Success" to help woman of low-income brackets

to look stylish at their office jobs. These poor woman are going to think they struck gold with

a box of Chanel suits - too bad they're fake! What a bummer.

RUSSELL SIMMONS BACKTRACKS ON SEPARATION

Not appearing at all like a couple who just announced their

separation, Russell Simmons, his wife Kimora Lee and their

daughters Ming Lee, 6, and Aoki, 3, "woke up in the same bed" Monday, Russell revealed to the New York Daily News. Three days earlier, the Def Jam founder had released a statement announcing the end of his seven-year marriage to the former model.

On Tuesday, however, Simmons told the Daily News that he

and his family woke up together at their Saddle River, N.J., mansion, and said theres still "a possibility" they can save their marriage.

"On the day we made our announcement, I picked up my children from school and took them to see 'Ice Age 2: The Meltdown'

with Kimora," Simmons told the newspaper.

Simmons said he was also upset over press reports of their split "that made it look like we were unfaithful to each other. That's not true. We know each other very well."

Simmons said he told Kimora about his relationship

with 23-year-old Dominican video vixen Denise Vasi,

and added that the separation boils down to this:

"I work with her 14 hours a day. The question is, do we

want to betogether 24 hours a day? We're making a space and taking some time, but we're best friends.

We're still going to have our media interests and our fashion interests. I am producing her reality show,

and we're raising our children together. From

what the public sees, there's absolutely no change."

Simmons said their separation drama will be

featured on her VH1 reality series, "The Kimora Lee Simmons Show," and laughed: "I'm sure the producers

want to get it on the show sooner rather than later."

On Saturday, the separated couple will be at Mar-a-Lago,

where Donald and Melania Trump will co-host a Palm Beach

fund-raiser for the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation.
