50 CENT'S LIL' COUSIN 25 SPEAKS OUT

50 Cent's little cousin, 25 (pronounced two five), says it's been hard for him to capitalize on his family connection.
The budding 22-year-old rapper from Southside Jamaica, Queens is 50's real blood cousin who grew up in the same house (their grandmother's) and even hustled together on the streets. But these days, the two don't even speak to each other.
Nicknamed 25 Cent because he and 50 were inseparable as kids, Michael Francis has been unsuccessful in recent efforts to land a record deal. When he asked his cousin to put him on and give him a break 50's response was that there are people out to kill him and if they can't get to him the closest was his fam and he didn't want to risk it. 50 also doesn't help out his grandmother and she is still living in the same hood in the sam house he was shot in front of years before.Which is messed up especially when 25 sees 50 buying $100,000 jewelry for his G-Unit fam guys who wouldnt have his back were he broke. 25 is working on his debut project, which he plans to release independently some time next year if he doesn't get a label.
He also filmed a DVD that features a look at his home in Queens and chronicles his dedication to making music. He has not seen 50's movie, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," nor does he have an interest in it.
Two Five's contempt for his cousin was quite apparent in a recent interview with the Associated Press:
AP: What's the relationship between you and 50 Cent right now?
Two Five: There is no relationship. I'm doing me and I'm handling my own business. I don't know how he feels, that's something somebody would have to ask him. My relationship with him, to my knowledge, is, stay on your side of the street, I'll stay on mine. I feel like I don't need him.
AP: What was the last conversation that you had with 50 Cent like?
Two Five: It was an argument. It was yelling and screaming. I think when people get a little money they really don't show their true colors. But when you get big money and you're in a different tax bracket, you start to feel yourself more than you're supposed to, you get cocky.

AP: So you think he's gotten cocky and the money and all the success has changed him?

Two Five: I think he's lonely and bitter. I think he's that way because there is nobody around you to share your love with. You're making all that money just to have 15 security guards, two trucks and nobody around you that really cares for you. And when all your money is gone and there is nobody else there for you, you gotta come back to family and that's even if we'll accept you.
